DALLAS – Toni Darrough, 13, of Waxahachie, is a featured model in the Children’s Cancer Fund Gala “An Evening in the Garden,” where hope blooms in an enchanted garden filled with miraculous stories of survival, on Friday, April 26 at the Hilton Anatole Dallas.

Life Saving Award presented to Ferris doctor

During Tuesday night’s Rowlett City Council meeting, Mayor Tammy Dana-Bashian presented the Life Saving Award to Dr. Robert Megna for saving the life of a man at the Rowlett Community Centre. The incident occurred at about 3:45 p.m. Dec.
