OUT TO PASTOR: Finding good in our world is challenging

In our world today, it is difficult to find anything good, let alone anything good to say about anything or anyone. One area of life I have a very difficult time finding anything good is politics. I stay completely away from politics as much as possible.

Ferris PD welcomes four new officers

Ferris Chief of Police Eddie Salazar introduced four new officers to the city council Monday night. The Ferris Police Department provides 24-hour police service within the incorporated city limits of Ferris, Texas.

Karen Carreon, president of the Ferris Lions Club presented two $500 scholarship awards at the 2019 Ferris High School Senior Awards Program on May 2. Congratulations to Alysia Gonzales, who received the Tip Riley Scholarship Award and Mercedes Netro who received the Joe Chapman Scholarship Award.

Sri Lanka – We can’t rest
