Another piece of Ferris history gave way to a wrecking crew this past week. The old Ferris Nursing Home, 201 E 5th St, is giving way to new residential and commercial development on 5th Street.

FERRIS – The Ferris City Alley Park was back on the minds of residents in Ferris this week. The city council voted against a motion made by councilmember Sherie Chapman Monday night to discuss and rewrite the city’s contract concerning The Ferris Bar & Grill and its use of the alley park.
