FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than books (March 14, 2019)

Over 130 children’s black history books were checked out in February as the Ferris Public Library celebrated Black History Month. The library randomly chose three winning black history books and flagged them in their computer system.

Local wrestler wins state title

Eve Smith wrestles for a club called Moya out of Oak Cliff. She is a sixth grader at Walnut Grove Middle School in Midlothian. This year she won state titles at the rookie level the novice level and the open level.
