Joe Chapman, ‘Mr. Ferris,’ passes away at 91

FERRIS – Ferris lost one of its most beloved civic leaders – and its last living World War II veteran last week, when Joe Chapman, with his son and daughter-in-law by his side, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 13. Joseph Harlan “Joe” Chapman was born May 14, 1927, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Jacquelyne Howard of Midlothian was named to Fall 2018 Dean’s List at Berea College. A student is named to the Dean’s List who achieves a GPA of 3.4 or higher while passing at least 4 total credits, a course load equivalent to 16 semester hours. U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Kyle J.
