WILMER – The City of Wilmer’s Initiative to Spread Hope got an early Christmas gift from employees of truckload carrier CFI – to the tune of $2,600.
The local program was one of 19 charities around the nation supported by CFI in its annual Truckloads of Treasures holiday giving campaign.

Spelling Bee winners prep for county Bee

The week of Dec. 16, ROISD students in grades 4-8 participated in the Scripps Spelling Bee at their campus.
First place winners from each campus will move on to the Ellis County Spelling Bee on Feb. 6 in Waxahachie.
