The Ferris Police and Fire departments responded to a vehicle that flipped on FM 660. The driver ran into a ditch, and her vehicle hit a culvert becoming airborne. The vehicle not only hit nearby trees, but also snapped a utility pole.
Ferris vehicle accident takes man’s life

FERRIS – Last Thursday, the City of Ferris reported two motor vehicle accidents in the city just an hour apart.
Ferris City Manager Brooks Williams said the Ferris Police and Fire Departments responded to both accidents.
In the second accident, one individual lost his life.

FERRIS – Rumor was the Ferris Police Department was duplicating citations in the city’s citation system last week.
As a result of this mistake, a resident was concerned warrants would be issued on citations already paid.

At its extreme, the defund the police movement is a welcome embrace of anarchy. Don’t take my word for it. Just look at the six blocks in downtown Seattle that the police and local government have ceded to protesters, where two shootings over the weekend left one person dead and two others injured.
