MIDLOTHIAN – In between four lightning delays, an opportunistic Midlothian special teams set up two Slater Callahan rushing touchdowns in a win over Killeen Ellison.In the second quarter, the Killeen Ellison punter fumbled the snap and was tackled at their own 14-yard-line.

WEEK 10: Red Oak 27, Granbury 3

GRANBURY – After enduring multiple weather delays, Red Oak defeated Granbury and remains unbeaten for the season in District 4-5A Division I.Red Oak (9-0, 7-0) was led by Reggie Moody, who threw for 274 yards with two touchdowns, and Taz Williams, who caught nine passes for 125 yards and one score.

WEEK 10: Waxahachie 30, Mansfield Lake Ridge 0

MANSFIELD – Ramon McKinney Jr. rushed for 128 yards and threw for 52 yards and two touchdowns in the victory over Mansfield Lake Ridge at Vernon-Newsom Stadium.The game was called at halftime after multiple weather delays. The second half will not be played.

High water rescue made near Palmer Saturday, October 28.

Palmer and Red Oak Fire/Rescue units responded to a high water rescue call between 10 and 10:30 a.m. on Sat., Oct. 28.A woman became stranded when she drove her Mustang into the flooded southbound I-45 frontage near Palmer.
