FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than books (September 19, 2019)

The Ferris Public Library’s “Book a Librarian” program will be ending on Sept. 27. This program allows you to call the library at 972-544-3696 and reserve an hour between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. to schedule that time with a library staff member to learn about Microsoft Word, Basic Excel and PowerPoint.

1 dead in crash on FM 664, W. Highland Rd.

OVILLA – On Aug. 30 at 11:24 a.m., Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers were called to a two vehicle crash at the intersection of FM 664 and West Highland Road. The preliminary investigation showed a white 2011 Chrysler 200 was stopped at the stop sign on West Highland Road.
