FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than books (December 12, 2019)

The Ferris Public Library’s Annual Food for Fines will continue until Dec. 20. In participating in this program, you may clear your account with non-perishable food donations. Here’s how it works; every dollar you have for past due fines, you can gift one can or package of food.

Former Ellis County Press Editor honored by Texas House Resolutions

FERRIS – She was a force of nature. That’s what most people noted posthumously when Ellis County Press Editor Sheila Hatfield died in September.   When she died, many knew a force had died with her.
