Wilhelm sworn in as judge for new Ellis County 504th District Court

 ELLIS COUNTY – Judge Greg Wilhelm was officially sworn in last week and is now serving as judge of the county’s new 504th District Court.Wilhem was sworn in at the Midlothian Conference Center alongside his wife, Monica Wilhelm.“Last night was a milestone I will never forget,” Wilhelm said.

Palmer shooting leads to multiple arrests

 PALMER – Jesus Hernandez, 23, of Palmer, was arrested following a shooting investigation by the Ellis County Sheriff’s Department.Hernandez was charged with four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, as well as felon in possession of a firearm.
