OUT TO PASTOR: Did my body warranty just expire?

Just when I recover from the latest ache in my body within a few minutes, I will get a “Boo, I’m back.”I’m not quite sure why these Aches and Pains love my body so much. Why don’t they just get over it and move on to another circus.

OUT TO PASTOR: To be or not to be, that’s my confusion

After many years of denial, I finally realized how easily I am confused. Why it took me so long to realize this, I will never know.If only I could go back to my wonderful teenage years when I knew everything and nobody could tell me what to do. Why do those days go by so quickly?

OUT TO PASTOR: Just me and my coffee

It was one of those days that don’t often come my way. I was out sitting on the porch with my 1st cup of coffee for the day.Today was special. The Gracious Mistress of the Parsonage, her daughter and granddaughter went to St. Augustine for spring break. They would be gone for three days.

OUT TO PASTOR: What’s chocolate got to do with it?

Did you ever have a morning when everything went exactly as you planned?Well, neither have I.I plan my schedule to include everything I need for the day. But, unlike The Gracious Mistress of the Parsonage, I fall way short of accomplishing that.

OUT TO PASTOR: Who has the license to drive me crazy?

I will confess that I am crazy, but I didn’t get there by myself. Somebody has been driving me crazy. When I use the word “somebody,’ I mean a lot of people.I didn’t always know I was crazy until a few years ago The Gracious Mistress of the Parsonage looked at me and said, “Are you crazy or what?

OUT TO PASTOR: It’s not always what I don’t know

I would be the first to admit one truth about myself: I don’t know everything. To quote a politician, “I don’t know what I don’t know.”That has been the theme of my life for as long as I can remember. It all began with my parents.

OUT TO PASTOR: Whatever happened to “My Space?”

When I was young, one of my life priorities was “My Space.” I defended it with everything I had.At school, I even had to go several times to the principal’s office and explain what “My Space” was all about. He didn’t seem to understand, and I had to explain it.

OUT TO PASTOR: A tribute to Ms. Gossips-A-Lot

I was sitting in the shopping mall this week, drinking coffee and taking a break. I don’t like going to the mall, but sometimes I have to go and pick up something for The Gracious Mistress of the Parsonage. While drinking coffee, I watched people pass by.

OUT TO PASTOR: It was a snarly kind of day

Last week, The Gracious Mistress of the Parsonage had another one of her girl days with our daughter and granddaughter.Don’t let this get around, but it’s one of my favorite days of the year, including my birthday. It’s a day which I can do what I want to do.

OUT TO PASTOR: How much sleep is too much?

I have noticed recently that sleeping has become a very important part of my life. This just snuck up on me overnight. When I was young and living at home, I tried to come up with excuses and reasons for not going to bed at night.
