FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than books (December 9, 2021)

The Ferris Public Library will be giving out Christmas Grab-N-Go Gift Bags to the children on Monday, Dec. 13, and the following Monday, Dec. 20. These are like the craft bags we gave out during the library’s 2021 Summer Reading Club.

Watch for Fall Armyworms in pastures/small grains

With our current climate conditions, producers need to be on the lookout for fall armyworm infestations in their fields.The fall armyworm, Spodoptera frugiperda, is a common pest of bermudagrass, sorghum, corn, wheat and ryegrass and many other crops in north and central Texas.
