On Sunday, Nov. 6, the Old Chisholm Trail Chapter and National Society Daughters of the American Revolution honored the veterans from Ovilla with a wreath ceremony.

NOVEMBER 3: Midlothian 56, Red Oak 28

MIDLOTHIAN – Midlothian topped 4-5A Division I mate Red Oak to claim a district title and finish its regular season undefeated for the first time since 1984.Midlothian put up 529 yards of offense in the district championship game.

NOVEMBER 3: Midlothian Heritage 35, Everman 34

EVERMAN – With the District 5-5A Division II title on the line, Midlothian Heritage’s defense made the play of the game by stuffing Everman’s Kayden Brooks’ 2-point conversion run to give Heritage a 35-34 victory at J.E. Marr Stadium.

NOVEMBER 3: Waxahachie 49, Skyline 21

Waxahachie (8-2, 5-2 District 11-6A) put on a defensive clinic in the first half with four interceptions, including a 65-yard pick-six by cornerback Keith Abney, as it routed Skyline (0-10, 0-7). Waxahachie will be the No.2 seed from 11-6A in Division I.
