Arthur Young Mohundro, Jr. (A.Y.), age 96 of Ferris, Texas, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 9, 2020 with his family by his side. He was born May 3, 1924 in Ferris, Texas, to the late Arthur Young Mohundro Sr. and Essie Ross Mohundro.

RED OAK – It began last Monday, Dec. 8, when Red Oak police were dispatched to the 200 block of Ovilla Road. A call came in at about 2:53 a.m. letting police know the business burglary alarm at First Aid Wireless had been triggered.
The Ferris Police Department received a tip from an anonymous source about stolen items being stored at a residence located in the 300 block of N. Main. Suspects Mikal Andrew Reedy, 22, and Lars Vincent Wells, 20, were arrested for possession of stolen property.
