Neighborhood crime watch signs delivered to Ferris PD, Italy PD

As part of Crime Stoppers of Ellis County Program, they needed to get information out and into  communities that a Crime Stoppers program exist in Ellis County and that will pay out on tips reported through Tip Line 972/937-PAYS (7297) or through the (free) P3 Tips App that helps to solve a crime or leads to an arrest. 

“In doing so, we are partnering with Ellis County Law Enforcement Departments (Crime Prevention Programs) to provide Neighborhood Crime Watch signs to their cities,” said Shari Phillips, Executive Chair, Crime Stoppers of Ellis County 

To date, Crime Stoppers has provided signs (20) to the Ferris Police Department, Waxahachie PD (40), Ennis PD (40), Milford PD (20), Italy PD (20), and 40 to the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office.  

“Our goal is to partner with the remaining law enforcement departments in Ellis County to provide their communities with signs in the coming year.

“We encourage our community members to take an active role in protecting our communities.

“If you see something, say something!  

“We also like to remind them that Crime doesn’t Pay, but we do!
