Animal shelters reopen after distemper outbreak

ELLIS COUNTY – The SPCA of Texas announced last week the Ellis County Animal Shelter system would be re-opened on Tuesday of this week, Aug. 9.The Ellis County Animal Shelter has been closed for several months due to a distemper outbreak in June.

ENNIS – The Ennis Police Department needs your help in identifying a suspect who recently committed a theft at the Walmart in that city on July 28.The unidentified woman, a white female, committed a theft of $320 in miscellaneous items from the local Walmart store.
