Families looking for something to do after school this month have two reasons to head to the library.

On Thursday, Sept. 17 from 3:30 to 5 p.m., we are hosting our popular Lego Lab. Whether kids want to follow instructions or let their imagination run wild, Lego Lab offers a relaxed space to build. No registration or experience is required.

The following week, we switch gears with Kid’s Trivia, also from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24. Youngsters can test their knowledge across a mix of categories to see who takes home bragging rights as the library’s newest trivia champion.

PRESCHOOL STORYTIME is back in full swing every Wednesday starting at 10:30 a.m. Children are treated to three stories, crafts, games, and snacks each session. All ages welcome - no registration required.

HOMEWORK HELP is offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4 to 5 p.m. Volunteers and staff are here to help with research, understanding assignments, and general study skills. Please note: Homework Help is intended as supplemental peer support, not professional tutoring, and students should always confirm final answers with their teacher. Families can reserve their slot by calling the library at (972) 544-2110 Option 9 or by emailing ferrislibrary@ferristexas.gov.
