WAXAHACHIE – Presenting a demo on “Reflections,” artist Candace Faber will discuss painting reflections in water and the design principles as tools for composition at the monthly meeting of The Ellis County Art Association.

The meeting is June 1 at First Baptist Church of Waxahachie (450 US287 BYP).

Faber has been creating art since childhood and was first taught by her mother, a former art teacher.

Candace built a career as a product designer in the housewares industry while selling her art in galleries and in art fairs.

She is a former art professor with a BFA in painting and an MS in design. Currently she draws continued inspiration from life on her small horse farm and the surrounding landscape.

The meeting at FBC is open to everyone and begins at 6 p.m. with refreshments and socializing.

Announcements and business will start at 6:30 and the Demo will begin at 6:45 p.m.

It is free to attend and the public is invited.
