This year’s Spring Break at the Ferris Public Library was a tremendous success!

We had a wonderful turnout, with many new patrons joining our library family.

Throughout the week, we offered two programs for adults and four programs for children. Each program designed to inspire creativity and fun during the break.

We also started a program called Lego Lab, where participants have the opportunity to construct their own unique creations or follow building challenges.

Follow us on Facebook to see when our next Lego Lab is and let’s build something amazing together.

STORY TIME is hosted every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Children are treated to stories, fun activities, and a snack. Before leaving, your child may choose a prize from the treasure chest to take home.

AFTER-SCHOOL GAME TIME is held each Thursday from 3:30 – 5 p.m. Children can play the PS5 on the large screen in the meeting room and board games are also available.

NEW BOOKS:  “The Crash” by Freida McFadden, “Bonded in Death” by J.D. Robb, “The Big Empty” by Robert Crais, “Iron Star” by Loren D. Estleman, and “What the Chicken Knows: A New Appreciation of the World's Most Familiar Bird” (Dewey 636) by Sy Montgomery.

BOOK BLURB: “The Crash” by Freida McFadden, released January 2025. Tegan is eight months pregnant, alone, and desperately wants to put her crumbling life in the rearview mirror. So, she hits the road, planning to stay with her brother until she can figure out her next move. But she doesn't realize she's heading straight into a blizzard. She never arrives at her destination. Stranded in rural Maine with a dead car and broken ankle, Tegan worries she's made a terrible mistake. Then a miracle occurs: she is rescued by a couple who offers her a room in their warm cabin until the snow clears. But something isn't right. This safe haven isn't what she thought it was, and staying here may have been her most deadly mistake yet.
