WAXAHACHIE – Waxahachie police are investigating the death of a 30-year-old man, David Watts, who was shot last week in the 800 block of N. Getzendaner Street in Waxahachie.
Police received a call on Sept. 19 around 8:20 p.m. by an unnamed women whose name police will not release.
She stated she had shot her boyfriend at the address.
When Waxahachie police arrived, they found Watts lying in the grass with a single bullet wound to his forehead.
After life saving measures was taken he was taken to Baylor-Waxahachie where he was pronounced dead.
Police said there were a number of witnesses at the scene who provided statements.
Police stated no charges have been filed and the investigation is ongoing and no additional information in being released at this time.
