Angelo State University conferred 599 undergraduate and graduate degrees on 592 graduates during the 2018 Fall commencement exercises on Dec. 15, 2018, at the Junell Center/Stephens Arena in San Angelo, Texas. Graduates included the following local students: Madison Comford of Midlothian – Bachelor of Science in Nursing in Nursing Erica Dixon of Glenn Heights – Bachelor of Science in Psychology Micah Duke of Ennis – Master of Science in Applied Psychology Ty Mitchell of Ennis – Bachelor of Science in Animal Science

Dannielle Remek and Stephanie Schroeder, both of Midlothian, achieved the Dean’s List at Belmont University for the Fall 2018 semester Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.

Outstanding academic work during the 2018 fall semester has earned listings on the President’s Honor Roll for several local students at East Central University. Those students included Danielle Davidson of Midlothian and Ruth Herman of Waxahachie. The President’s Honor Roll is reserved for students who earn A’s in all of their courses for a perfect 4.0 grade-point average. At least 12 credit hours must be completed successfully during the semester to be included on the President’s Honor Roll.
