Ferris school bus collides with SUV

Preliminary investigation indicates on Monday at approximately 4:16 p.m., a Ferris ISD school bus was traveling east on FM660 when a Jeep Grand Cherokee, traveling south on Newton Road, failed to yield right of way by attempting to turn left onto FM660.

FERRIS – The Ferris ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously earlier this month to name a new superintendent to fill the district’s recent vacancy.Hector Madrigal, Superintendent of Karnes City ISD, was the lone finalist for the Ferris ISD role.
