OUT TO PASTOR: It was a gobble-gobble kind of day

I do not know about anybody else, but I truly enjoy Thanksgiving Day. It is not just because of the turkey that the Gracious Mistress of the Parsonage prepares so brilliantly, although, I cannot think of any other reason. Of course, there is the idea of family getting together.

OUT TO PASTOR: Not everything in life is automatic

Two days in the year I don’t like. Somebody is thinking it is my wife’s birthday and our wedding anniversary. I worked that out a long time ago. My birthday is two days before the Gracious Mistress of the Parsonage and our anniversary is three weeks after our birthday. No way can I forget that.
