My hometown of La-Grange, Georgia has the distinct honor of being the home of three of the most influential preachers of the churches of Christ over the last century. Two of those men have warranted writings in this place for as long as we’ve shared life here on the “front porch.

Recently, the Gracious Mistress of the Parsonage and I spent some time in St. Augustine for some vacation days. We don’t often get to have vacation days, but when we do, we try to enjoy it. Just down a few blocks from our motel is a place we love dinning. It’s called the Village Inn.

Stephanie Schroeder of Midlothian qualified for the Fall 2019 Dean’s List at Belmont University. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.

AUSTIN – At the direction of Governor Greg Abbott, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) produced two state intelligence assessments on critical threats to Texas, both of which were released today.

The City of Ferris is  going to attempt to complete the project over the two-day weekend, Saturday, Jan. 18 and Sunday,  Jan. 19.  Workers will be utilizing multiple pieces of equipment to perform multiple tasks simultaneously in order to meet this schedule.
