Ferris Covenant Church hands out free masks

FERRIS – Members of Covenant Church in Ferris met at the Snap Fitness on 664 this past weekend to handout masks to those in need due to the COVID-19 orders and to help slow the spread of the pandemic.

RO police on high-speed chase

RED OAK – Red Oak police took to the streets last week – including the streets of Ferris – during a car chase that ended on South Interstate 45. On April 22 at 3:36 p.m.

AUSTIN – With more people enjoying the outdoors and working from home this April, you may start to notice more wildlife in your backyard, neighborhood or surrounding area. Species including birds, deer and snakes are active this time of year and their young often stray or appear to be abandoned.
