Quinlan’s ground game wears down Ferris defense, 32-16

FERRIS – Ja’Donovan Williams rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns as unbeaten Quinlan Ford pulled away late for a 32-16 win over Ferris. Williams provided the go-ahead score on a 12-yard run with 7:24 remaining to put Ford ahead to stay.

Life Waxahachie beats Brownsboro by a touchdown, 21-14

BROWNSBORO – Jalen Mann had 185 total yards and three touchdowns to lead Life Waxahachie over Brownsboro 21-14 at Bear Stadium. Mann had the go ahead score on a 24-yard run with 1:20 left in the game. Detyrian McCoy had 291 yards passing with one touchdown for Life Waxahachie (1-2).

Midlothian Heritage tops Decatur 28-25

DECATUR – Midlothian Heritage topped Decatur 28-25 thanks to a goal-line stand from the 1-yard line on the final play of the game. Earlier, senior running back Cullen Stone scored the go-ahead score with 57 seconds left.
