MAYPEARL – Maypearl (4-2, 2-1 District 7-3A ) kept its playoff hopes alive by defeating Madison (2-6, 0-4).Aaron Jett ran for 26 yards and caught a 4-yard pass from Cole Rager to get Maypearl going in a game in which all the scoring was in the first quarter.

The Ellis County, Marine Corps League, Toys for Tots is gearing up and preparing to provide toys to children in need all over Ellis County.They have already held a fundraiser at the Old Brickyard Golf Course and will be having a Toy Run on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021. Registration starts at 9 a.m.
