STORM POWER OUTAGE CAUSES DISCHARGE AT FERRIS’ TRINITY RIVER AUTHORITY WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY

FERRIS – A discharge of non-disinfected, treated wastewater occurred Sunday, March 30, at the Trinity River Authority’s Ten Mile Creek Regional Wastewater System plant in Ferris. The discharge was caused by an electrical power outage caused by severe storms in the area.

DALLAS – Weather permitting, northbound Interstate 45 (I-45) will be narrowed to one lane between Botham Jean Boulevard (near the US 175 junction) and Al Lipscomb Way (just south of the I-30 junction) from 8 p.m. Friday, March 28 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 31 for an ongoing bridge maintenance project.
