Annual Youth Art Show winners announced

WAXAHACHIE – Displaying more than 500 entries, the youth of Ellis County showed their artwork and won scholarships, gift cards and ribbons. The annual Ellis County Youth Art Show was sponsored by the Ellis County Art Association, and was held at First Methodist Church in Waxahachie April 9-12.

STATEPOINT – Ongoing measles outbreaks across the country have many families, pediatricians and public health experts concerned. Most of the people who have gotten sick, including a child who died in Texas, were not vaccinated against measles.
