Good week to all: Welcome to the “front porch.” Happy Thanksgiving! It was Thanksgiving, 1997, when we first shared the following story – and that was about the time many of you and I first met. I’d say that is a special blessing, too, and something else to give thanks for today.

Gallo seeking Ellis County Court at Law #3 judgeship

WAXAHACHIE – Joseph R. (Joe) Gallo officially filed his candidacy for judge of the Ellis County Court at Law No. 3, seeking the Republican Party nomination in the March primary election.
Located  off of  Interstate 35E, the new theatre will be a major addition to the dining, shopping and entertainment development known as Red Oak Legacy Square.  Projected opening date is Spring of 2021.

12-screen theater, bowling, arcade complex coming to Red Oak

RED OAK – B&B Theatres and Victron Group announced a new upscale, state-of-the-art theater complex will be opening in Red Oak to serve Ellis County and the surrounding communities. The review process by the Red Oak City Council is underway, and construction is slated to begin in early 2020.
