Hawks bounce back, defeat Midlothian 46-35

After a tough loss on the road to Colleyville-Heritage last week, the Hawks bounced back with a 46-35 win over District rival Midlothian HS, in what may have been the Hawks best all-around team performance.

Waxahachie 21, Mansfield 7

MANSFIELD – Brandon Hawkins Jr. scored two touchdowns and accounted for 220 total yards to lead Waxahachie over Mansfield 21-7 and into the playoffs. Waxahachie (4-4, 3-2 District 11-6A) used the run game to dictate tempo. Running back Shawn Cherry added a touchdown and 73 yards on the ground.
