U.S. REP. RON WRIGHT DIES FOLLOWING COVID-19 DIAGNOSIS

WASHINGTON – Texas Republican Rep. Ron Wright has died, his congressional office announced in a statement Monday, stating he had been admitted to the hospital after contracting COVID-19. Wright passed away peacefully at the age of 67 on Feb. 7, 2021.

Local organizations granted funds through HILCO’s Operation Round Up® program

ITASCA – At their Jan. 12, meeting, HILCO Electric’s Trust Board voted to disburse $10,886.00 to five organizations in the HILCO service area.  These funds were donated during the fourth quarter of 2020. Grant checks were presented on Tuesday, January 12th at the Itasca HILCO office.
