ELLIS COUNTY – A group called the Ellis County Conservatives are asking for citizens who are concerned about the MUD districts to speak out about what some people believe is a bad meeting location for an upcoming meeting.

Residents of Ellis County, where proposed MUD districts are planned, are protesting many of these developments in unincorporated Ellis county.  MUDS, though legal, have raised the concerns of citizens living near where developers propose to build.

Car crashes into O’Reilly’s in Italy

O’Reilly’s in Italy opened for business early on Saturday, Feb. 3,  around 2 a.m. – when a car driven by  an unidentified driver crashed into the store, causing extensive damage.As of press time there were no estimates on the amount of damage caused to the building, store fixtures and merchandise.
