Red Oak falls to Highland Park on the road, 52-35

DALLAS – Red Oak lost against Highland Park back in October of 2024 and unfortunately, they wound up with the same result on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025.The Scots rolled to victory over Red Oak in a key District 7-5A Division I clash Friday night at Highlander Stadium.

Pilot Point upsets undefeated Palmer, 44-28

PALMER – Palmer quarterback Eric Cisneros rushed for 115 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries, and also threw for 161 yards and a pair of TDs in the losing effort.

Memorial service set for Ovilla baby

 OVILLA – A date for the public memorial ceremony for Ovilla Baby Jane Doe has been set for Oct. 10 at 2 p.m.Services will be held at Green Funeral Home, 105 Vintage Drive in Red Oak.Baby Jane Doe was found in an Ovilla dump truck by a sanitation worker in November 2024.Her identity remains unknown.

RFR Scholarship Benefit to be held Saturday
