TEA investigates ISD complaints regarding Charlie Kirk

ELLIS COUNTY – There were no ISD’s in Ellis County named in the 127 school districts in Texas being investigated by The Texas Education Agency in the aftermath of the death of Turning Point’s political speaker Charlie Kirk.

Midlothian Heritage loses a close one to Terrell, 21-14

MIDLOTHIAN – Julian Ashley rushed for two touchdowns and the Terrell (6-0, 3-0 District 6-5A Division II) defense held off Midlothian Heritage Thursday night at Midlothian ISD Stadium.Down 7-0 to the Jaguars, Ashley ran 15 yards to tie the score as time expired in the first quarter.

Waxahachie outscores Mesquite Horn, 56-20

WAXAHACHIE – Quarterback Jerry Meyer III completed 14 of 23 passes for 187 yards and four touchdowns, leading Waxahachie over Mesquite Horn 56-20 on Friday night.
