 MIDLOTHIAN – The Midlothian Police are investigating the aggravated sexual assault of a child with multiple additional offenses also involved.Patrol officers in Midlothian were dispatched to an address on Wed., Dec. 17, to investigate a report of a potential sexual assault involving a child.

Dallas police officer arrested on Christmas Eve for DWI

 MIDLOTHIAN – The Midlothian Police Department arrested Dallas Police Department Lieutenant Jeremy Carter on Christmas Eve.Carter faces charges of driving while intoxicated.

 WAXAHACHIE – To date, Waxahachie has not been able to obtain the approval for City Hall road repair at Fifth Street and Morton.This item to obtain approval for repair will be addressed at the Jan. 12, 2026 city council meeting, requiring an official vote for the repair to be done.
