MIDLOTHIAN – The Midlothian Fire Department broke ground last week on its latest addition, Station No. 4 with elected officials or representatives for politicians in attendance alongside Midlothian leaders and residents.
Midlothian Fire Department Station No. 4 will be located at 4021 Shady Grove Road.
It will be an 18,000-square-foot facility, and will allow the city’s firefighters and paramedics to respond quickly to emergencies throughout the 115-square-mile service area served by the Midlothian Fire Department.
Touted as a critical infrastructure addition for public safety in the Midlothian community, the new fire station will also feature drive-through apparatus bays, concrete floors and ensure quicker response time.
It is expected to be open in July 2027.
