FERRIS – Ferris Fire Department received a $20,000 grant from Texas A&M Forest Service Rural Volunteer Fire Department Assistance Program. The grant was used to purchase an Artic Compressor to be used to fill Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus bottles.

Kade Bragg of Ennis, a junior on the Angelo State University Rams baseball team, has been named the Lone Star Conference Pitcher of the Week for Week 8 of the season ending March 26. This marks the second straight week he has won the award.
