FERRIS HISTORICAL MUSEUM REOPENS

An estimated 20 people were on hand Saturday to celebrate the re-opening of the Ferris Historical Museum, located inside Country Corner Treasures, 201 S. Main St. Connie Bratcher, curator, has worked tirelessly to preserve Ferris’ rich history as the “City that Bricked the World.”

Let’s learn some magic tricks! On the Ferris Public Library’s Facebook page Magician, Daniel Lusk will show you a magic trick and teach you how to perform it. Last Tricky Tuesday he taught us his “Mind-Bending Paper Clip” magic and, as a bonus, showed how you could perform the same trick.

Man charged in 2010 cold case slaying of Mitchell County teen

AUSTIN – More than a decade after she was last seen alive, a person has been charged in the cold case slaying of Mitchell County eighth-grader Hailey Dunn.
