February is both Black History Month & Library Lovers Month, and we are offering a wide range of activities and resources to celebrate both!
The library has a special collection of books by and about African American authors, civil rights leaders, and Black historical figures that will be showcased all month long. Stop by anytime this month and take part in our scavenger hunt highlighting influential figures in Black History.
Library Lovers Month is celebrated throughout the month of February and is an opportunity to honor the vital role libraries play in communities. It’s a time to celebrate the joy of reading and discovering all that libraries offer. If you don’t have a library card, it’s never too late, visit us to get one! Follow us on Facebook to stay up to date on all the fun and exciting things we have planned at the library this February!
STORY TIME is hosted every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Children are treated to stories, fun activities, and a snack. This is a wonderful way to build routines, make new friends, and create special memories. Before leaving, your child may choose a prize from the Treasure Chest to take home.
