The Ferris Public Library offers all Ferris students access to free E-Books. If this is something your child wants to continue or sign-up for, they can ask the school’s librarian to give them an E-Book Parental Permission form for you to fill out and sign.

A look at the importance of community

ELLIS COUNTY – I am coming to find out that being part of a community is very important to stay in the loop about what is going on in town. Not only has it been helpful in knowing what goes on in the small city of Red Oak, but it has helped me grow mentally, emotionally and socially as well.

Ellis County Elections had a good turn-out for the run-off election. Election Judge, Cheree Barrett, does a fantastic job. She keeps everything moving smoothly and efficiently. We have the supply lists for all grades of Ferris students.

LOCAL STUDENT UPDATE: July 29, 2021

Zanobia Willis of Red Oak has been honored for academic excellence as a member of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s volleyball team. UA Little Rock’s Volleyball program was honored by the American Volleyball Coaches Association with its 16th AVCA Team Academic Award.
