OPINION: Only one revolution ended in liberty

Two hundred and fifty years ago, men in powdered hair and knee breeches did what no colony had ever done successfully. They broke away from the most powerful empire on earth. They were not bloodthirsty radicals. They had petitioned again and again to remain loyal subjects of the Crown.

OPINION: Prescription for a socialist workforce

America has a socialism problem, and it’s bigger than most citizens realize. When candidates aligned with the Democratic Socialists of America win Democratic party primaries, or New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani hails “the warmth of collectivism,” socialism’s advance is obvious.

OPINION: Consistent inconsistencies

The Second Amendment to the Constitution is a relic of a bygone era of revolution. The Founders could not have contemplated that it would apply to semiautomatic handguns. The Founders absolutely could not have contemplated that it would apply to machine guns.
