DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE: Would you be able to spot the signs of a Democratic Republic going down the drain?

As a general truth, no matter your side of the aisle, where do you think America is right now? Throw out the hate and use some common sense in your answer – and what is your conclusion?

OPINION: Keep politicians out of college sports

Nearly everyone who is a college sports fan, myself included, knows the state of affairs in the NCAA is one fine mess. Especially regarding football and men’s basketball, the two major money-making sports, things have changed massively in the last few years – and mostly not in a good way.

DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE: Sunday’s US/Iran peace deal was apparently kept secret from Israel

Over the course of the last week, I heard Tel Aviv was getting “pummeled.” Turns out that was not exactly true – go figure. The city was forced into bomb shelters June 7 during a major flare-up, but Israel’s aerial defense networks intercepted much of the incoming fire.

DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE: Did Jared Kushner just buy his very own nuclear garrison in the middle of the Adriatic Sea?

In the world of it does not get any crazier than that – well we have ourselves a crazier one. Please indulge me this week because sometimes you just know you fell off planet Earth and are in a “you would not believe what I dreamed last night” type of dream, only it’s not a dream.

DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE: Did you know the US and Israel could be integrating its military?

I don’t think you guys are ready for this shocker. However, before I dive fearlessly down this rabbit hole, I will say if we ever get open borders between the United States and Israel, Tel Aviv did wow me. That was some years back though. I even saw an amazing Lady Gaga show there – I digress.

DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE: Is choosing a side furthering the divide, even as a cacophony of unrealistic emotions are manipulated?

Consider this; if you choose a political side, you further the divide. How much struggle did your ego feel by that statement?I heard someone say Americans shouldn’t be arguing about feelings, backgrounds, or framing – even though that is what people want to turn it into these days if they do not...

DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE: While no one thinks it could happen in the US, you didn’t believe the insanity over the past five years could happen either – IT DID!

With politics being at the forefront of most “thinking” people’s minds these days it seems there is much to lose if we are not paying attention. While there are still people heavily sleeping for whatever the reason may be, there are also many red and blue people who have woken up and can see the...

DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE: It will only be a brave new world when the liars are held accountable and run out of town

I’m going to pose a question this week. It’s a question I queried a number of people (likely, as many people as most pollsters ask when they declare the results of their polls). The question is: “Do you think Americans care more about hating the other side of the aisle than looking at the real...
