RED OAK – Despite schools being suspended due to COVID-19, construction of the two new Red Oak High School multi-purpose practice fields has continued. Photos from April 5 show the near completion of the fields.

As of right now, when an individual would like to be tested in Ellis County, they should contact their local health care provider and notify them of their current health situation. From there, their local care provider would direct them to get tested if the diagnosis required.

ELLIS COUNTY – As if the threat of COVID-19 isn’t real enough, with each day more people in the area are confirmed positive for the virus. Now, those residents sheltering in place and trying to do the right thing to prevent spread have to deal with scams.

WAXAHACHIE – As counties around the state of Texas are taking measures to halt the spread of the Covid-19 virus, on Monday Ellis County confirmed one additional case in Midlothian. Sunday, the Local Health Authority confirmed the sixth case in the county.
