IN LOVING MEMORY: Raymond Clifford Miner

August 16, 1944 – May 9, 2024

Raymond Miner of Ferris, Texas passed away peacefully in Dallas, Texas on May 9 at the age of 79.

Raymond was the youngest of four children. In 1962, he married the love of his life Patsey Gilbert, they were married for 60 years.

Raymond started his own family business, Miner’s Wrecker Service. Raymond worked for  Ferris Independent School District for 12 years and Williams Dental Group.

Raymond enjoyed spending time with family and friends and had a passionate love of fishing. 

Weekends you could find Raymond at the lake – camping, fishing, hosting the best fish fry with his wife, kids, grandkids, family, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles Willard Miner and Lorene Harlin Miner, one daughter Karen Jean Miner, sisters Carol Wright, Doris Bloyed and brother Charlie Miner.

He leaves behind his loving wife Patsey Miner, son Ronnie (Diana) Miner and daughter Felicia (Richard) Taylor. Grandchildren Brandon Miner, Brett (Adriana) Miner, Scott Caviness, Sarah Caviness, Danielle (Chris) Cooper, Tiffany (Adam) Miner. Great grandchildren Keeley Miner, Mikaila Miner, Tollison Miner, Katalina Miner, Aidon Hammer, Grayson Hammer, Haven Murphy, Bexlee Cooper, Wylie Cole, and a host of nieces, nephews and other beloved friends and relatives.
