WAXAHACHIE – Baylor Scott & White in Waxahachie celebrated its grand opening expansion for its new east patient tower last week with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
A social media post noted, “This beautiful new addition represents more than just a new building – it means expanded access to quality healthcare right here in our community.”
The idea with the addition of the east wing is that Ellis County residents will have even more opportunities to receive care closer to home, “making it easier for families to stay connected during times when they need it most.”
The six-story, $240-million tower is the largest campus addition yet, adding 59 new beds, an intensive care unit, and expanded surgical and emergency departments.
