ENNIS – Loloi Rugs cut the ribbon on its new distribution facility in Ennis last Wednesday.
The Greater Ennis Chamber of Commerce, along with Loloi Rug president and owner Amir Loloi and other company leaders, took part in the ribbon cutting.
“For 20 years, Loloi has brought thoughtful design and centuries-old craftsmanship together to create distinctive rugs, pillows and home décor enjoyed across the country,” the Greater Ennis Chamber of Commerce posted on social media.
“We are proud that this family-owned company has chosen to grow its story right here in Ennis.”
The one-million-square-feet distribution facility spans 23 acres.
The facility at 2151 U.S. 287 Bypass near FM 1183 is expected to bring more than 380 logistics and operations jobs to Ennis.
In December, Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced that Loloi, Inc., was bringing its distribution facility to Ennis.
A statements from the Governor’s office stated $20- million in capital investment was part of the multi-phase distribution headquarters development.
“Texas is where the crossroads of hard work and opportunity lead to success,” Abbott said.
“This $20 million investment by Loloi in Ennis just south of Dallas will create hundreds of good-paying jobs for hardworking Texans.”
