MILFORD – The Mustard Seed Initiative Foundation is proud to announce the launch of “Dry Bottoms. Happy Babies,” a community initiative dedicated to ensuring that babies in Ellis County have access to clean diapers, wipes, and other essential infant care items.
Diapers are a basic necessity, yet many families face difficult choices between purchasing diapers and meeting other household needs.
Through community donations, corporate sponsorships, churches, volunteers, and local partnerships, the Foundation aims to bridge that gap and provide practical support to families during some of life’s most challenging seasons.
“Our mission is simple – we want every baby to have a clean diaper and every parent to know they are not alone,” said Namesha Rene, Founder and President of the Mustard Seed Initiative Foundation.
“Sometimes the greatest act of compassion is meeting a basic need.
“We believe small acts of generosity can change the trajectory of a family’s future.”
The initiative will collect:
• Diapers (all sizes)
• Baby wipes
• Pull-ups
• Baby wash and lotion
• Diaper cream
• Baby formula
• Baby food
• New infant clothing
• Baby hygiene essentials
Community members, businesses, churches, schools, and civic organizations are invited to host collection drives, become community partners, sponsor the initiative, or volunteer with distribution events.
The Foundation is also launching its Fill the Box Challenge, encouraging individuals, families, and organizations to fill donation boxes with baby essentials that will directly benefit local families.
In addition to accepting physical donations, financial contributions will help purchase diapers and other critical supplies throughout the year.
