FORRESTON – A fatality accident last Thursday at the Forreston exit on IH-35E resulted in all northbound lanes being shut down for several hours.

During the early morning hours while first responders were on the scene, traffic on the northbound I35E side was diverted off the highway at the Forreston exit and rerouted onto Highway 77.

At around 7 a.m. the Ellis County Sheriff’s Department reported the northbound side of the highway was open and traffic was flowing normally.
